Nutritional Tips - Drink Lots of Water

Our bodies are made up of 60-70% water. Think about it, everything we ask of our bodies requires water: to make skin, look and feel better, help curb appetite, help relieve headaches and muscles cramps. It also helps to maintain normal blood volume and blood pressure.

An average healthy body requires 67% of fluid from beverages and 33% from foods. It works out to be about 1 litre (4 cups) of water per 1000 calories. An average diet ranging from 2000 – 2500 calories a day would mean drinking at least 8-10 cups of water each day.
